well on monday we had cambios and i am now with HERMANA MALDONADO from MEXICO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! she is so awesome!! we have so much in common and are already great friends. i am learning tons of mexican slang and i love her accent. i hope i come home with a mexican accent!! haha. and she promised me she would teach me how to make real mexican food so when I get home we can have a fiesta! and she has 1 week in the mission!! so i am traing again which i am so excited about! i love training. we are having lots of fun together. only 2 hermanas came this transfer so i feel very lucky to have been chosen out of all the hermanas to train again. its such a great opportunity to learn and progress together.
Also this week i finished the book of mormon again! i absolutely love the book of mormon and know without a doubt that it is true. everytime i read it i learn so many new things to help our investigators and also to help me. i found this scripture this week that i love in ether 2:24-25. heavenly father knows that we are going to have trials and difficulties because he send them to us. but he also prepares us for them if we ask for his help. 24 For behold, ye shall be as a whale in the midst of the sea; for the mountain waves shall dash upon you. Nevertheless, I will bring you up again out of the depths of the sea; for the winds have gone forth out of my mouth, and also the rains and the floods have I sent forth.
25 And behold, I prepare you against these things; for ye cannot cross this great deep save I prepare you against the waves of the sea, and the winds which have gone forth, and the floods which shall come. Therefore what will ye that I should prepare for you that ye may have light when ye are swallowed up in the depths of the sea?
i love you all and hope you have an awesome conference weekend. we will be watching conference the next week because this weekend is elections in all of peru. I LOVE YOU!!
